It's Back: Kate Middleton's Iconic Engagement Dress Is Finally Restocked
It was the dress that marked the beginning of the Kate Middleton effect—a dark blue tie wrap dress, which she wore in 2010 to announce her engagement to Prince William. Now, eight years later, the iconic piece has been restocked, but that's not even the best part. It's available in a slew of different colors (think an emerald green, yellow, and orange) and it's more affordable—the original cost around $600, while this version retails for $138.
Currently, however, the dress, so aptly named the Kate Tie Wrap Dress, is only available in an emerald green. The rest of the aforementioned colors will launch at the end of the month, according to Elle UK.
If the past is any indication of the future, we have a feeling this newly restocked dress will be flying off the shelves, so if you missed your chance to get your hands on this iconic piece eight years ago, now's the time. Read on to revisit Kate Middleton and Prince William's engagement announcement and then shop the emerald green dress below.
