Kate Middleton Wore the Shoe Trend That Could Be Replacing Ankle Boots

Have you been checking out the fashion month street style trends, Kate Middleton? Somehow we doubt it (she's kind of busy), but perhaps the lucky people who shop for her have been. Middleton and Prince William visited Blackpool, England, in the rain today, where Middleton's usual über-polished style was on display. She paired an elegant hunter green coat and midi-length dress with a box bag and black accessories, but her boots caught our attention first.

We recently delivered the message that knee-high boots (as opposed to ankle boots) were all over the F/W 19 runways, and the fashion crowd basically verified this based on how many examples of the trend we saw on the street style scene outside the shows over the past month. Not only that, Middleton wore them in the most fashion crowd approved way: with a midi dress. Anna Wintour would definitely approve (she's been wearing this outfit combination for years).
