No one makes fast-fashion look expensive quite like Kate Middleton, but after looking into the contents of the outfit she wore at her and Prince William's first public outing of 2022, it's clear that this time, she's outdone herself. For an official visit to the Foundling Museum in London, Middleton did what she does best, aka rewearing her favorite wardrobe items from affordable brands like Zara and the UK-based label Jigsaw.

In addition to her sold-out blue coat from the latter brand, which she first wore in January 2020, Middleton grabbed a $36 black turtleneck sweater from Zara and a pair of matching Jigsaw trousers that just so happen to be majorly trendy right now. The high-waisted slacks are wide-leg and slightly long, allowing them to puddle around her pumps, by Emmy London. The style, often referred to as puddle pants, has become a frequent street-style sighting, popping up on Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and Dua Lipa. But Middleton? We didn't expect her to hop onboard the trend, though, we're certainly not complaining.
