Confession Time: Are You Keeping to Your 2016 Style Resolutions?
Unbelievably, we’re already mid-way through 2016, and so it’s time to ask, how are your style resolutions coming along? I vowed to start reaching for lighter colours, instead of always choosing the safe option of black. As I look down at my outfit today, I’m halfway there—a cream Scanlan Theodore knit, and black Camilla and Marc drop-crotch pants—but I’ll be honest and confess that this isn’t always the case.
It’s almost tax-time, so while you’re attacking your life admin (i.e. the boring stuff), take a moment to remember what you planned to make your 2016 wardrobe all about (i.e. the fun stuff) and put aside some of your tax return to achieve these goals.
Whether it’s just a few additions you need to make—for me, it’s a pair of cream trousers and a white blazer—or bigger picture stuff—like tracking down your perfect wedding dress for your end of year nuptials, if you perform a mid-year review, you’re more likely to achieve your goals.
If your style resolution is like mine, and you aim to wear less black, keep scrollin peep the image I’ve saved to the top of my Pinterest board, and shop under $100 neutral basics.
