These Lavender Dresses Are Perfect for Bridesmaids

Perhaps Pantone was onto something when it revealed Ultraviolet as the 2018 Color of the Year, because we’re seeing different takes on the color everywhere. In particular, lavender dresses have been making appearances on the runways (and in our closets) for the spring season, and we’re not mad about it—not even a little.
Of course, with spring comes the beginning of wedding season. If you happen to be planning on standing in on a friend’s nuptials this season and have the option to choose your own attire—or pitch the final pick to the couple!—a lavender dress makes for a chic bridesmaid look. A quintessential shade for the seasons, the pastel hue is ethereal and romantic.
To help you get a head start on outfit planning for the big day, as well as take part in one of the biggest trends of the year, we rounded up some of our favorite lavender frocks on the market. Wear them as a bridesmaid, and then wear them as a guest for other weddings afterward.
Thank you, Pantone, for bringing this beautiful color option into the trend cycle. We're forever grateful.
