I'm Traveling to L.A.—These 6 Spring Trends Will Be Coming With Me
I would consider myself semi bicoastal. If I’m not in New York City, there’s a pretty good chance I’m in Los Angeles. I used to live in L.A. and ever since I left the City of Angels for the Big Apple, I try to go back whenever I get the chance. This month, I’ll be spending some time in Los Angeles, and of course, I’ll need to ditch some of my New York City style and switch to something a little more California-friendly.
While I was outfit planning for my trip, I noticed six spring trends that I kept leaning towards. Maxi hemlines, lightweight knits, crochet chic, white tops and jeans, statement mules, and matching sets. I think it’s safe to say that I’ll be wearing these trends all season and will take back with me when I’m planning looks back in New York.
Since I’d never tell you about trends without also telling you where to shop them, keep scrolling to see the picks that caught my eye.
Maxi Hem Lines
I can’t get enough of maxi hem lines, especially when we’re talking dresses and skirts. You can style a maxi dress with flat sandals and your favorite sunnies for a casual daytime look or with heels and a mini bag for something more night time.
Knits for Spring
Soft pastel cardigans, knit dresses and sets you name it, I’m ordering it. I love the look of a knit cropped top paired with a classic straight leg pair of jeans.
Crochet Chic
This ‘70s beachy trend has made its way back into 2022 and I couldn’t be more excited. This is a perfect look for a California vibe too, so definitely this one is a hit. Also great for any festivals you may be attending this spring and summer.
White Top + Jeans
I mean you can really never go wrong with this classic look. It's chic, stylish, and elevated while taking only 5 minutes to put together. I wear this look on repeat.
Statement Mules
Mark my word, mules will be the sandal of 2022. Add a bold or patterned pair to your collection to spice up an outfit.
Matching Sets
An effortless way to look stylish and put together. I mean who doesn’t love a good set?
