Whether the brand is on the road in exotic locales like Kyoto and Rio de Janeiro or settled at home in Paris, you can always count on Louis Vuitton to put on an impeccable show. Of course, the new S/S 19 collection was no exception.

Held on the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton closed out fashion month with a bang—and an A-list front row. Cate Blanchett, Alicia Vikander, and Laura Harrier were among the well-dressed attendees wearing LV from head to toe. Oh, and it never hurts to add a dash of royalty into the mix too: Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand held court in the front row wearing a polished shirt dress. Scroll down for everything you need to know from Louis Vuitton's S/S 19 show, including the It bag shape you're about to see a lot more of.

Make Room for Teardrop It Bags

From bucket bags to beaded versions, we've seen a range of different accessory trends go viral over the years. But you'd better make room in your closet for another one because Louis Vuitton's new S/S 19 show has convinced us that we need to subscribe to the teardrop trend ASAP. The trend is exactly what it sounds like: a teardrop-shaped bag that comes in three different colors with a top handle as well as a chain strap for versatility. Don't be surprised if you see these bags everywhere next year.

Front-Row Fixtures

A slew of celebrities showed off plenty of trends in the front row. Laura Harrier took Louis Vuitton's sneaker-boot hybrids for a spin, while Cate Blanchett nailed the power suit look in a shiny blazer and trousers.

Statement Sleeves

Statement sleeves are back and better than ever. Louis Vuitton showed off tons of adventurous new ways to try the trend, ranging from the sleek and sculptural to the soft and romantic. Per the S/S 19 collection, the best way to try the trend is by layering statement sleeves under dresses or shirts for maximum effect—that way you can also mix and match pieces and come up with entirely new looks every time.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
