J.Lo and SJP Are Suddenly Making This Controversial Sweatpants Trend a Thing

Given the popularity of both sweatpants and low-rise pants these days, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that the two trends have officially combined, and they're receiving strong celebrity approval as we speak. This week both Jennifer Lopez, on her way to a workout in Miami, and Sarah Jessica Parker, manning her namesake shoe store in NYC, donned low-rise sweatpants, proving that the controversial trend that's already all over TikTok is becoming a thing.

For their respective outings, J.Lo paired her low-rise, baggy, baby blue sweats with a cropped hoodie, white sneakers, and a Birkin bag (naturally). SJP went with a dressier look, layering her's over leggings and adding heels and a puffer (because New York). Given that low-rise sweatpants are comfortable and they look cool, you can probably expect that this trend will remain a thing for awhile.
