I Tried On All of Madewell's Most Popular Jeans—These 5 Were the Winners

I've been wearing Madewell jeans for as long as I can remember, and there are several reasons why. First of all, the brand is always quick to join in on Wholesale Replica Bag denim trends without ever ignoring the classics. Additionally, its jeans are well-made but inexpensive compared to other denim brands of comparable quality. Lastly, they're comfortable and true to size, and they come in tons of sizes and even different length options.
For the first time in a long time, I'm in desperate need of a few new pairs of jeans, and I've had my eye on Madewell styles as of late. Accordingly, I got the chance to try on a whole stack of jeans in the comfort of my own home, and I'm here to share the fruits of my labor with you.
Choosing the right pair of jeans for you is a pretty personal thing, but I did my best to give my honest feedback in the most helpful way possible. I also took photos of my try-on adventure, of course. I don't know about you, but I'm always searching for photos of the exact styles of jeans I'm shopping for in Google Images.
With that, scroll on for my hot takes on all of the best jeans at Madewell and to shop the exact styles I tried.
The '90s Straight Jeans in Enmore Wash
My Review: First up is a strong contender for my favorite of the bunch. They're truly the Goldilocks of jeans: not too tight, not too loose. At 5'4", I struggle to find jeans that don't need to be hemmed (petite styles tend to be too short), but these were perfect. They're also one of the rare ultra-high-waist styles I've tried that are actually comfortable—without that stretchy-jeans look.

The Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Jeans in Morea Wash
My Review: The Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Jeans are a loose, high-waist style that's just shy of being baggy. While I liked the way they looked, I would recommend sizing up one size in these, as my normal size 26 was quite tight around the waist. That said, I didn't wear them for long, and they have some stretch, so there's a strong chance they'd loosen up a bit with wear.

Stovepipe Jeans in Black Rinse Wash
My Review: If I'm going to wear jeans that are more of a slim style, I prefer them to be black, so that's the wash I tried. I was surprised by how much I loved the Stovepipes. They're perfect for wearing out at night, and I liked that they were more of a slim-straight fit than a skinny fit. Plus, they're ridiculously comfortable. Take my advice and order these if you're looking for a slightly dressier pair.

Low-Slung Straight Jeans in Kent Wash
My Review: I had high hopes for these, as they're the most forward style right now, and I wasn't disappointed. They're sort of low-rise and baggy in a good way. I found them to be more mid-rise than low, and they're not ultra-baggy. For more of the slouchy, low-slung look, I'd recommend going up a size.

The Perfect Vintage Jeans in Kepler Wash
My Review: Of the styles I tried, these were the closest to being skinny jeans. Because I didn't want them to be tight, I went up a size, and I'm so glad I did. They had more of a classic straight-leg look when I went up a size, which is my preference, but I think they would've fit more like skinny jeans in my normal size. I liked the super-high rise, and the length was perfect for me at 5'4".
