I'm a Shopping Expert—Here's Everything on My March Wish List

The first day of spring is almost upon us (officially, it’s the 20th if you want to mark those calendars), but the blue skies and that spring-like feeling in the air are due to arrive even sooner. By the looks of London’s forecast, we’re officially done with single-digit Celsius temperatures already *sighs with relief* and so we can’t help but look forward to the new season now. March is also the perfect time to start thinking about your wardrobe switchover—vacuum-packing away those heavy layers and taking stock of what spring-ready pieces you already have in your closet and what you may need to replenish or add.

You’re only human if you find these seasonal changes in wardrobe mindset a little tricky, though. Even I struggle remembering how to dress for warmer climes after months of hiding under chunky puffers, and I’ve been a stylist for almost 10 years. Like I said, you’ll probably own a lot of what you love wearing in spring already, and then it’s just a case of adding in a few fresh items to bring everything up to date and, let’s be honest, get you excited about wearing all your outfits again. There’s a lot of choice out there when it comes to new spring buys, though, and so I thought it might be helpful to put together a shopping guide of all the pieces I’m particularly loving this March to provide some inspiration for the season ahead.

After all, as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing editor, my job is to scour everything on the market and know exactly what’s worth purchasing and what’s not, the pieces that have staying power and the expensive-looking items you’ll never regret. Below, then, you’ll find 40 of the very best spring pieces I think are really special for wearing right now and beyond. I’ve included some timeless seasonal classics, like the perfect trench coat and fresh blue jeans (ideal if you’ve spotted some gaps in your capsule that need to be filled), and also some fun statement pieces guaranteed to bring joy, too. I’m not suggesting you need everything in this list by any means, but if you’re looking for one or two items to bring your March wardrobe into the new season, keep scrolling for a nosy at the pieces I'd recommend below.
