I Just Built My Dream Winter Wardrobe Completely From M&S

Sponsor Content Created With Marks and Spencer

You might think our fashion-editor wardrobes are full to the brim with exclusive, high-designer brands. And whilst there are those of us who have a few investment pieces, most rely on expensive-looking styles courtesy of the high street. As part of our roles, we spend a lot of time searching for gems that look expensive beyond their price tags, and many of these make up our personal outfit builds. One such brand that has my full attention right now is Marks and Spencer

I'll make a bold claim: this is M&S's best selection to date. That's a huge feat considering the numerous cult items, sell-out styles and beloved pieces that the iconic British brand has to offer. When scrolling through the site, I had a hard time narrowing down my picks for this season, as the high-street hero is excelling in every section. From coats to trousers and shoes to knitwear, M&S has clearly honed in on timeless, high-end-looking styles that will withstand changing trends. Of course, I had to share my selection with you.

The run up to the festive season is one of the busiest times of the year and calls for our wardrobes to work just as hard as we do, adapting to chillier temperatures, cosy catch-ups, Christmas shopping and glitzy evening events. For this fast-moving, demanding season, I rely on an agile wardrobe of capsule styles suitable for dressing up or down depending on the day's plans.

Wool coats come into their own this season, as the finishing touch that can elevate any outfit from the outside. Knitwear is a cornerstone of our winter wardrobes, and M&S has a wide array of affordable cashmere and cosy knits to keep you warm and stylish this season. If you're like me and planning dinner dates after work, chic dresses that can transition from day to night are a must, and I've highlighted two styles that I think can work for any occasion. Alongside these pieces, the brand always excels in trousers, with leather-look pairs, chic tailoring and classic denim to tie your looks together for this season and beyond. There's also a few added gems in my edit to inspire your winter outfits.
