17 Pretty Spring Dresses for Expecting Moms
As you might already know, spring is all about new beginnings, and yes, that includes bringing a new baby into the world. When you’re carrying and anticipating that due date, it sure doesn’t hurt to update your wardrobe with a few new maternity-friendly dresses.
Of course, when we’re suggesting some new additions to your closet, we want to make sure we’re on top of the season’s latest trends. So, we spoke with Anisa Arsenault, Associate Editor of The Bump, for her expertise on what the most stylish moms-to-be are wearing this spring.
“Before you hit that 12-week mark, how you dress is a matter of personal preference,” Arsenault shares. She explains that many moms prefer to opt for dresses and skirts with empire or A-line waists to hide growing bumps. She also says that shift dresses or more flowing dresses make great options as your body continues to change.
As for the trends expecting mothers are loving, Arsenault shares that printed dresses and muted spring colors such as pale pastels and earth tones are definitely in. “While brands aren’t eschewing prints like florals and stripes, solids are definitely in this season across the board,” she says.
With these style notes in mind, shop our favorite dresses on the market that’ll fit your bump, whether you’re in the first trimester or on the heels of your due date.
There you have it: 17 spring maternity dresses so chic and comfortable that you'll want to wear them after your pregnancy, too.
