I Just Found So Many Chic Autumn Staples In the Me+Em Sale

I’m not a huge sale shopper, I’ll admit. Mostly because, in years gone by, sales (especially on the high street) have meant trawling through racks of unwanted, end of season buys that I’ll know I’ll regret as soon as I get them home. Recently, though, with costs of, well, everything rising, I’ve reframed the way I think about sales and have put time into identifying the really good ones. The ones that are definitely worth spending time scrolling through—and Me+Em’s sale is one of them.

Now, rather than multiple rash purchases, I’m using the discounted periods to invest wisely in just a couple of better quality items that would, without the money off, feel too steep. As well as quality I’m trying to think of versatility, and instead of getting excited by the pretty dresses, swimwear and sandals that I’ll only be able to wear for another month or so, right now I’m searching the sales for buys that will see me through autumn and winter.

I popped into Me+Em last autumn to try on my favourite pieces.

I can recommend browsing the sales at Net-A-Porter, Matches, Harvey Nichols and lesser-known designer sites like SSENSE who often have incredible deals, especially this late in sale season. But it’s Me+Em’s sale that has my full attention right now. The brand sits somewhere between premium high street and designer, with a mid-range price point that can range from the £50-£500 mark—but it’s always been a brand that has impressed me in terms of the luxurious quality of its pieces.

Whether it’s a buttery leather jacket, or a pair of perfectly tailored trousers, Me+Em is one of my top industry secrets for finding timeless, designer-like items without the four-figure price tag. Any Me+Em pieces I have invested in, I've worn repeatedly and they've lasted really well over the years. Add an incredibly generous sale into the mix that happens to include some beautiful dresses and plenty of classic autumn to make the end of summer seem much more bearable, and you can understand my excitement.

Scroll down and you’ll find the 26 Me+Em autumn buys that I would recommend buying in the sale.
