Meghan's Capsule Wardrobe for Morocco Is All Kinds of Chic

Although I'm fully aware of the fact that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not take a commercial flight and pack just a carry-on suitcase for their three-day tour of Morocco, it's still a wise idea for the Duchess of Sussex to be a concise packer and craft a capsule wardrobe for these occasions.

Since she touched down late on Saturday night, we've enjoyed Markle's dramatic ensemble to meet the Crown Prince of Morocco in Casablanca—a stunning scarlet cape-shouldered gown from Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino could be considered a thoughtful nod to the predominant hue of Morocco's national flag. Scarlet is the brand's signature color, so Markle also clearly knows her fashion references.

On Sunday morning, the pregnant duchess wore a loose-fitting white shirt with jeans, slingbacks, and a blazer as she and Harry departed for a visit to a girls' boarding school. Upon arrival, Markle switched the look up a little, playing the casual card well by adding slipper-style flats and a plain black tee to her look. Look closely and you'll also see the addition of a henna tattoo on her left hand.

After an evening at the British ambassador's residence in Rabat in a cream gown by Dior, Meghan opted for a more casual look today wearing a Breton top, jeans and a parka for several visits. For her final outfit change, she wore a black knee-length tiered dress with a white blazer and gold earrings. See? Capsule holiday wardrobing at it's best.
