Meghan Markle Had 2 Secret Events This Week—Here's What She Wore

As you probably know, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently embarked on their very public farewell tour in the UK (aka, their final events as senior members of the royal family). We relished in that green caped dress seen 'round the world, but as it turns out, Markle also attended a couple of under-the-radar events earlier this week before that final farewell. The photos just weren't released until now. Just when we thought we wouldn't see the couple for a while, we were #blessed with new images.

We now know that she and Prince Harry met with young leaders of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust last week, and then on Monday, March 9, Markle met with scholars from 11 Commonwealth countries. For the event last week, Markle wore the Preen Glenda Dress ($1265), which has promptly sold out on other retailers despite its high price tag but is still available on Moda Operandi. For the second event, Markle wore a polished Scanlan Theodore Crepe Knit Cravat Dress ($650) with a tie-neck detail. Scroll down to see Meghan Markle's outfits and to shop similar pieces.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
