18 Minimalist Autumn Buys From Arket, COS and Weekday

Whether you like it or not, minimalism has become the reigning aesthetic of 2019, and it shows no sign of slowing down. Some swear by the luxe appeal of minimalist high-end brands such as The Row and Raey, but here in the UK, we're incredibly lucky to have a plethora of high-street offerings that specialise in clean lines and simple silhouettes. Arket, Weekday and COS are three brands that have managed to ace affordable minimalism with their versatile edit of timeless separates. Season-wise, autumn seems to be the time of year when these brands thrive, as they've got the whole "cosy-knit with jeans and boots" look down to a T.

With that in mind, I've done a bit of hunting and come up with the seven autumn gems you need to see from Arket, Weekday and COS. Arket is looking great for leather pieces, whether it's knee-high boots or a boxy leather shirt. Weekday, meanwhile, is our go-to for more affordable buys—I'm enamoured by the Lizzie cable-knit sweater, which would look so nice thrown over the Irma slip skirt.
