Model Molly Moorish is set to be one of London's new It girls. For one, she's got rockstar parents (she's the daughter of Liam Gallagher and Lisa Moorish), and secondly, she's got FROW London Fashion Week tickets and an enviable wardrobe.
This weekend, she celebrated her 21st birthday at the Groucho Club and wore the ultimate trophy dress: "I tried on about 10 or more outfits from a bunch of different designers in the weeks leading up to the party but nothing felt like what I had in mind for my 21st," Molly toldBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing . "It was one of those situations when you have a vision in your mind of exactly what you want to wear but you can't find it. I've always adored designers like Ashish and Halpern so I think that definitely inspired the sequins—your 21st definitely has to include some sparkles! I had probably looked for over a month, but when I saw the Gucci by Tom Ford dress at William Vintage (which was actually made in 1998, when I was born), I knew straight away that that was the dress."
Molly paired the dress with a Chanel 2.55 bag covered in pearls and made the look a little more Brit Pop with a pair of chunky Gucci platform boots. She explains she always likes to keep her outfits casual: "I definitely went through a phase where I'd only wear trainers or Docs. Now if I'm dressing up, I'll stretch to a low-heeled boot. Dependent on the evening, I can still be the old me who loves a pair of trainers and a jumper, but I'll perhaps pair it with a Louis Vuitton bag and a coloured lip to dress it up a little. Then for other events, I might wear a Brognano dress with my Gucci heeled boots. But I always carry flats in my bag as back up for when my feet start hurting!"
As for her hair and makeup, Molly went for an early '00s look. "With my hair, I wanted something sleek and subtle, so I just straightened it—about 25 times! My hair is really wavy and thick, so it took a lot of hair spray to keep it straight. As the dress was silver sequins, I opted for a smokey glittery eye to match."
The party saw Molly bring together her family and friends: "The high point of my party was having everyone I love in the same room—my three brothers together and all my family, especially the people that made a special effort to travel quite far. That made my night. Walking into the venue and seeing how beautifully it had been decorated was a real highlight for me, it looked insane! We put disposable cameras on all the tables so that people could take their own photos throughout the evening, which I can't wait to see. That along with a photo booth and a drinks menu with cocktails named after me. 'Mol-jito' and 'espresso Mol-tini' were just some of the details that made it such a special night for me, so big thank you to my parents for the effort they made."
