Designers from Denmark, Colombia, Australia, and the U.S. are coming for your wallet next year—and if you're smart, you'll start making room. Some of my favorite brands right now already have cult followings in their respective countries, but I'm positive they're going to attract an even wider audience in 2019.

Aussie brand With Jéan, for instance, just launched last year but quickly attracted the coolest girls Down Under with its pretty dresses and vacation vibes. Meanwhile, Colombian brand Maison Alma made its debut on Moda Operandi this summer, and it's only a matter of time before the street style set catches on.

Fellow Colombian Silvia Tcherassi has had a banner year in terms of celebrity fans, with everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Dua Lipa wearing her beautiful clothes in 2018. The newest brand in my roundup, Sahroo, is NYC-based and full of whimsical, handmade details that are the definition of Instagrammable. Scroll down to shop six brands I'm betting on for 2019.

1. Maison Alma

Colombian brand Maison Alma's artistic, handmade coats are poised to hang in the closets of the chicest girls in the industry next year. Get ready to see them all over the street style scene in no time.

2. Cecilie Bahnsen

Danish brand Cecilie Bahnsen is already a darling of Copenhagen Fashion Week—an event that has become increasingly important in the industry—but I'm betting the label will be even bigger internationally next year. I can't wait to see what Bahnsen has in store for 2019.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
