As you know, we live in a sneaker-obsessed world, and what brand is currently on top is an ever-evolving hot topic. While it goes without saying that Nike and Adidas kicks are in most of our closets these days, another sneaker brand is the reigning queen of 2017, thanks in large part to a very well-known celebrity collaborator.

According to data provided to us by Lyst, it's Puma that's quickly risen to the top this year. They shared with us that since Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, Puma's sales have increased by a whopping 88%, with a 22% increase in Lyst searches just over the past week. Also, for two consecutive days this month, one person searched "Fenty" every 7.56 seconds. As a result of Rihanna's insanely popular collection, Puma as a whole is currently the highest grossing sportswear brand on Lyst, beating out Nike and Adidas for the second week in a row.

While Puma's popularity undoubtedly rises around the time that a new Fenty collection drops, we've been seeing more and more fashion girls wearing other sneakers by the brand, such as the classic Match and Basket styles.
