Shoppers Are Spending $3.9 Billion on These Cult Sneakers
There are tons of sneaker brands big and small clamoring for your business, but not all of them are making billions of dollars off your shoe habit. Footwear News just reported on the impressive sales from Vans, in particular, and the numbers are staggering. As it turns out, Vans's parent company, VF Corporation, is enjoying major sales increases right now. "Third-quarter sales advanced 15 percent to $3.9 billion, driven by a 27 percent gain at the California skate lifestyle brand."
We have a feeling shoppers are obsessed with the brand's classic styles, like the Old Skool and Authentic, but Vans's cool collabs probably don't hurt either. The brand has recently teamed up with Disney on a Mickey Mouse inspired collection and partnered with the Van Gogh Museum on artsy new shoes. Scroll down to see the street style way to style the brand and shop our favorite picks right now.
