13 Colombian Brands Fashion Girls Are Obsessing Over

As we slowly begin to step foot into the territory of a new year, we are simultaneously influenced to step foot into new fashion territories as well. The uncharted land we're venturing into for peak style inspiration? Colombia. Today marks the exciting launch of the Colombian Collective, Net-a-Porter's tasteful curation of brands from the South American country. The collective is filled with every vacation item your heart desires, including statement swimwear from brands like Verdelimon and breezy dresses from Silvia Tcherassi. But that's just scratching the surface, as the Colombian Collective proudly features around 13 Colombian designers.
“The Colombian Collective was born out of a love for the brands that we were seeing coming out of the region. Noticing that we were bringing on board a lot of Colombian designers, it seemed like the perfect timing to celebrate this collective of creatives," says Elizabeth von der Goltz, global buying director of Net-a-Porter. "We asked each designer to create something bespoke for us and to use their country as an inspiration. Each capsule represents a beautiful sensibility with unique designs, femininity, optimism and a real sense of love for their country shining through. We especially love the fact that these designers are all friends, supporting one another alongside the local artisans," she continues.
Considering the fact that multiple pieces from the exclusive curation are already selling out, we have a strong feeling this newfound obsession with Colombian designers and brands will only continue well into 2019. Ahead, go on to shop our favorite pieces from each designer featured in the collection and be sure to check out Net-a-Porter for more.
