The New Designer Bag Everyone Will Covet in 2019

If you can't decide between your love of jewelry and your fixation with bags, we're pretty sure we found your ideal dream buy. Cartier just released the new Guirlande de Cartier bag collection inspired by its iconic jewelry box, and it's bound to be one of the most coveted pieces for 2019. If you follow Aimee Song, Jenny Cipoletti, or Natalie and Dylana Suarez, you've likely already spotted the stunning red version, but don't be surprised if a lot more It girls get their hands on the bag next year.

"More than just a bag, Guirlande de Cartier is the very essence of a Maison infused in a formidable

form with eight clean-cut facets carved into luxuriant supple calfskin and stamped with a gold frieze," Cartier explained in a press release. As for how to wear it, a few stylish women have some ideas: Song wore hers with a Rixo star-print dress while Cipoletti teamed hers with a leather miniskirt. Meanwhile, the Suarez sisters wore their Guirlande de Cartier bags with cool trousers. Scroll down to see how everyone styled the new Cartier bag and to shop the beautiful collection for yourself.

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
