These 8 Pieces Will Be Huge Next Year
What are the undeniable fashion trends we’ll be seeing next year? I posed this very question toBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing ’s editors to find out exactly which about-to-break items they’re anticipating for 2019. Collectively, our editors spend a solid chunk of time each week studying the new pieces trickling in at retailers and the micro-trends that bubble up on Instagram and the street style scene. But we also carefully study runway shows during fashion month and are experts at guessing which of these looming trends will take off.
So, which new fashion trends are they predicting will be huge in 2019? Some of them—like ‘80s and western—are current trends that will pick up more steam and carry over into next year. Others, though, like nouveau Teva’s and the “California cool” trend feel very fresh and uniquely 2019. Scroll down to find out which pieces you’ll be sure to spot fashion girls wearing after we head into the new year.
"I think the 'California cool' trend will be huge next season. We're talking everything from tropical prints to tie-dye to beat-up sneakers."
"Crochet is set to be a huge trend for spring 2019. And this isn't your grandmother's crochet or anything that resembles a hippie costume, rather it's fresh takes on the knit from brands like Ganni and Beaufille. It folds into the larger California Cool trend mentioned too."
"Feathers will continue to be huge, but even more dramatic than before. Clearly, it's a trend I'm already on board with (see my above photo wearing a feather-embellished piece from LPA)."
Logomania is nowhere near losing its popularity. I'm taking note from the spring runway shows at Fendi and Chanel and predicting logo-stamped footwear to be the focus come 2019.
"Based on the S/S 19 runways, Teva-style sandals are poised to be the new flip-flops. I'm sure there will be plenty of designer variations, but the original $50 version is just as good."
"I think barely-there, floss-like sandals will continue to gain traction into the new year and be a major shoe for spring 2019."
"I think the western trend will definitely continue into next year, and these Ganni fringed jackets feel like a fresh way to wear it for 2019."
"The '80s will continue to yield a major influence well into 2019—at least when it comes to accessories. I think we'll see a lot more costume jewelry like large, colorful earrings and chunky necklaces."
