As fashion editors, we test out a range of products that we then recommend to you, dear readers. Many of the items we discover end up becoming staples in our wardrobes. While the specific pieces run the gamut based on our personal styles, there are a few current standouts that we absolutely swear by and think you would be into because of their versatility.

Below, you'll uncover an edit of the items that get an A+ from us. Basically, we don't think you'd return the top-rated picks ahead because they are quite stellar. As a preview, you'll find everything from an under-$100 shirting pick to the denim silhouette one fashion editor is wearing on repeat. Keep scrolling for all of that and more.

J.Crew Shirt

"As a brand known for its polished tailoring and classic style, it's no surprise that J.Crew does button-downs especially well. Ever since I got this shirt a month ago, I've been wearing it a couple of times a week. The J.Crew team told me it's one of their favorites, too, because the sleeves hit a little longer than most J.Crew styles for that cool menswear-inspired look. Even though the cotton-viscose blend is super soft and almost would seem like it needs to be dry-cleaned, I can confirm it looks just as good now after many washes as it did when I got it. I'm obsessed with the punchy purple, but it's only a matter of time before I start collecting all the colors. I'd bet my money that no one would return this perfect top!" — Kat Collings, editor in chief

Khaite Jeans

"Khaite's Danielle jeans have proven to be modern classics in the denim space. I'm such a fan that I've purchased them in three colorways, which speaks to how essential they are in my closet. They are definitely an investment but one that I think is worth it." — Kristen Nichols, associate director, special projects

Le Specs Sunglasses

"Truth be told, if I could spend money on one frivolous purchase, it would be a pair of sunglasses. I have more pairs than I can count, but frankly, I keep going back to my same tried-and-true pair of black Le Specs sunglasses. The minimal, sleek design comes in a multitude of colors, and while I have a few colorways, I can't overstate how many times I've raved about the classic black pair. Not only are they incredibly chic, heavy, and luxe looking, but they're also well under $100. Everyone needs a pair of simple '90s sunglasses, and I can't recommend these more." — Ana Escalante, assistant shopping editor

J.Crew Suit

"I don't even know if I have enough space here to discuss my adoration for the J.Crew Ludlow suit. It is an absolute classic, and the quality is top-notch. The fit? Perfection. I wear mine for a variety of occasions—with a tee and sneakers for something more low-key and with a shirt, tie, and loafers for dressier affairs. I also mix and match the blazer and trousers to create even more outfits." — Bobby Schuessler, shopping director

Abercrombie Fitch Shirt

"If you know me, you know how often I wear a white button-down. I have tried a handful of brands, and this Abercrombie Oversized Poplin Button-Up is simply the best. It's perfectly oversize, but it doesn't feel like you are engulfed in fabric. It pairs well with a majority of my wardrobe. Whether you want to wear it open, tied up, with jeans, with a dress, or layered under a formfitting piece, it fills that role in your outfit seamlessly. I cannot recommend it more." — ChiChi Offor, associate shopping editor

Toteme Bag

"This has been my go-to bag this summer. It's the perfect size and goes with everything, and it's at a good price point for a designer bag. Toteme released it right at the start of the quiet-luxury movement, and it promptly sold out. I have it in tan, which has yet to return, but I just noticed a restock in the black and cream iterations, both of which are beautiful." — Allyson Payer, senior editor

Tibi Jeans

"Though the shape of these jeans is a bit different than, say, classic 501s, they've quickly become my favorite denim option and are worn at least once a week. The price is steeper than I'd usually feel comfortable paying for jeans, which is why I originally thought I might return them before they arrived, but the quality and silhouette impressed me immediately, and the way they give every outfit that little touch of specialness more than makes up for it. I've recommended them to so many people since I bought them and have only heard incredible reviews from those who followed through on the rec and bought pairs themselves. Hell, I even got a second pair—the same style in ecru." — Eliza Huber, editor

Pangaia Blazer

"A black blazer is not an item you'd expect to earn compliments on, yet whenever I wear this organic cotton one from sustainable label Pangaia, people go out of their way to comment on its perfectly boxy shape. They're not wrong. My closet is home to 10-plus blazers, but I'm always reaching for this one. I think the details—its menswear-inspired fit and classic single-breasted shape—are what make it so reliable. I honestly think I would be happy if it were the only blazer I owned. One note on the sizing is that it's cut for a unisex fit, so I highly suggest sizing down from your typical womenswear size. You'd be wise not to skip the matching trousers." — Anna LaPlaca, editor
