What's Good is aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing column where Kristen Nichols, associate director of special projects, shares her latest shopping finds.

As an editor, fashion month is always a highlight of the year—a moment to see runway shows up close, have a preview of what is new and next in fashion, and chat with other people in fashion about their thoughts on what is unfolding. This season, I attended New York Fashion Week, and the spring/summer 2024 collections were full of fresh ideas and silhouettes that are paving the direction for fashion in the year ahead. Elegant shiny satin, capri pants, and hourglass clothing silhouettes were notable trends to watch. Flats continued to dominate footwear at Proenza Schouler. Altuzarra was one of the most talked-about shows of the season with a collection steeped in ruffle-trimmed skirts and A-line shapes that are at the top of this editor's 2024 shopping list.

Aside from seeing the new collections, fashion month gives me an excuse to put together new outfits to wear to the shows. My approach this season revolved around wearing many of the staples I already have in my closet, mixed with some fresh fall drops. Among the new pieces in my fashion-week wardrobe were Prada's just-dropped floral-embellished kitten heels, an editor-favorite Tory Burch tunic, a Picotin bag from Hermès, and a knit dress from High Sport. Ahead, see the NYFW outfits this editor wore and shop each of them.

I first spotted this Tory Burch tunic at the brand's S/S 23 runway show and have been thinking about it since. While it is technically a top, I decided to style it as a micro minidress. The styling options for the piece are endless, though, and I plan to wear it again with a column skirt. It's a definite editor favorite and a piece thatBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing editor Eliza Huber included in her NYFW wardrobe.

For NYFW, I styled it with Prada's floral-embellished white kitten heels that just dropped for the season—a piece I've been eyeing ever since I spotted them in the brand's F/W 23 collection. I added a leather pochette bag from Savette, finished with the brand's signature hardware.

For much of fashion week, I shopped my closet. Case in point, this look is comprised mostly of pieces I own and wear regularly. I'm a big fan of Attersee and built the look around its sculpted vest—a piece I own in multiple colorways. I added my go-to Danielle jeans from Khaite. Their shape fits so well, and I've collected them in multiple shades. To navigate the thunderstorms that hit NYFW, I added By Malene Birger's leather ankle boots.

The new piece I reached for? A Picotin bag from Hermès that was on loan from Fashionphile for the week. I was interested to learn from their team that it is currently the most in-demand piece across the entire website, so now is the time to snap it up. After wearing it throughout the week, I'm convinced it needs to be my next bag purchase.

High Sport has gained a reputation for its beautiful staples among fashion insiders. The brand's cropped kick-leg pants, in particular, have risen to cult status, and it is easy to see why the expertly crafted knitwear is in hot demand. For NYFW, I wore a sleeveless knit dress from the brand that made it easy to see why fashion people flock to the brand. The jacquard-knit dress is cut to perfection and lends immediate polish but is also one of the most comfortable pieces I've worn.

I styled the dress with the Hermès Picotin bag as well as Tory Burch's just-released Pierced Slingbacks that are finished with a silver toe-ring detail. When wearing more pared-back clothing, I always like to add accessories that have a talking point.

I kept things simple for my last day of fashion week, again, shopping my closet. I'm a big believer in investing in great staples that I can wear again and again. Here, I wore my go-to button-down shirt from HommeGirls and a pair of wide-leg Citizens of Humanity jeans with a leather belt and bag.
