This New York Fashion Week was my rookie season, or in other words, my first New York Fashion Week as an editor atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing . Prior to being an editor, I would rely on the kindness of my friends in the industry who were further along in their careers to bring me to events as a plus-one. I would work backstage of shows helping dress models and try to RSVP/wait in line for some of my favorite designers' after-parties, hoping I could somehow sneak my way in. But this season, many of my fashion week dreams came true. I went to several shows and events with an invite that had my name on it—pinch me.

As a fashion girl who has always wanted to work in editorial fashion and spent most of my time in fashion school preparing for this moment, you can bet I was taking my outfit planning very seriously. I wanted to have fun with my looks and express my personality, which is what I always try to do when I style myself, but especially for fashion week. I knew this was the time to bring my A-game. During the week, I would change into a new look whenever I had the time. There were days that I wore three to four outfits. What can I say? If there’s an opportunity for a fashion moment, I tend to take it. With that said, there were six looks that I was absolutely obsessed with, and if I say so myself, I think I did pretty well for my first time attending fashion week as an editor.

Keep scrolling to see the six looks I wore that stand out, and shop other options that I love just as much.

This sparkly Retrofête look was my choice for the first night out of fashion week. I had an agenda packed with the Revolve Gallery private event, an event for Ford models, and the Saks Fifth Avenue fashion week party. I was going for something fun, sparkly, and bold. I knew that since this was the first night of a long week of events, parties, and shows that tonight was a great night for a wow moment, and Retrofête basically specializes in dresses made for that. These earrings from Emma Pills were the cherry on top.

When I first saw this dress on Shopbop, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I love a great black dress, and this one is everything I was looking for: classic, chic, yet still fun and stylish. I wore this look to a presentation, a fashion show, a dinner, and then a night out in the city with my friends. I’ve got to say this look was one of my favorites.

This House of CB corset-top-and-skirt set is so dreamy. I wore this look bright and early for Bronx and Banco’s morning runway show. I felt like a princess in this, embracing the "pretty things” trend with satin fabric, corseting, and flowy hems and sleeves. I paired it with the Cult Gaia sparkly bag that every It girl has in her closet.

Luckily for me, LoveShackFancy agreed to dress me for the Upper East Side press preview. I chose this feathery look because when else am I going to a fair princess fashion presentation in Uptown Manhattan? I figured this was the perfect time. I loved this look like I loved basically every piece the brand had on display. The preview was truly like a fairy princess tea party. I was obsessed. The Chanel bag from Vivrelle was the perfect finishing touch.

I have been so ready to start embracing fall looks, but the weather hasn't always agreed with me. I opted for this ultra-chic Staud-dress-and-boots look for a summer-to-fall transition outfit. I wore this look to several presentations and shows and was stopped every two seconds with people asking me, "Where is your dress from?” My bag is also Staud. If you can’t tell, I’m a huge fan of the brand.

This dress was by far my favorite dress of all of fashion week. While it is simple, the design and the cut of this dress are so flattering. When I tried it on, the designer of Retrofête, Ohad Seroya, saw me in the dress and encouraged me to wear it. I felt like a million bucks in this look. It was perfect for a fashion show and rooftop party, which just happened to be what I had planned that evening.
