The $10 Way to Get Olivia Palermo's Look
We love spotting one of Olivia Palermo’s latest obsessions. Only last week, we noticed she couldn’t get enough of her black ankle boots, and now? It’s the necklace style that’s basically ruled 2016—the shoe-string choker. The choker (in all its shapes and styles) has been everywhere this year, from velvet, to jewelled, to single strands, and the longer lariat-style.
Palermo has stepped out in the lariat style on three different occasions, and each time styled completely differently. She proves that the simple accessory can really work with any outfit and can change up your whole look. Don’t want to fork out $10 for the necklace? We have quite possibly the easiest hack ever. Find a pair of shoes with black laces in your closet, remove the lace, and use it to tie around your neck instead. No one will be able to tell the difference.
