I Just Bought These Controversial Jeans Because They're on Sale for $42

First of all, I'll admit that I'm not much of a skinny jean person. These days, I prefer a cropped straight-leg style or a cropped flare. But I also admit to having trouble resisting anything that Re/Done starts and/or embraces, especially when said trend is majorly marked down (as in from $210 to $42, in this case). The jeans in question are from the brand's Originals line: The Stretch High Rise skinny style. So what's so controversial about them? Well, they're pastel pink (read more about the colored denim trend here). But they're a perfect, subdued shade of pastel pink and they feature signature Re/Done details like a button fly, that cool-girl fit, and the white logo tag. Additionally, they're made of stretch denim, you know, for comfort.

Pastel skinny jeans may not be for everyone. Honestly, they may not even be for me, but it's spring and they were on sale for $42, so they're worth a shot, right? I leave you with this tip: Because they're pastel skinny jeans (i.e., not the most forgiving wash), I went up a size. Shop the jeans, along with a few other cool pastel skinny jeans below.
