Prediction: These Will Be the Most In-Demand Pieces of Summer 2019
While summer is still more than seven weeks away, I’m already predicting some of the trends and It pieces that will be most in demand for the season ahead. I’ve been keeping a close eye on some of the micro-trends that are already bubbling up on Instagram as well as the pieces that are trickling into the wardrobes of the fashion set, which are always great indicators of where fashion is headed next. I’ve also been studying the runways and the items that are about to hit retailers in time for summer, so I have a good idea about the pieces that the fashion set will be wearing next month.
Just what are the buzzy fashion pieces everyone will own for summer 2019? Ahead, I’m highlighting the cool trends worth investing in and the Itnpieces you’ll want to buy before they sell out. From new swimsuit trends to the jewelry that's making a comeback to Chanel's It shoe and more, these will be big. Go on to see the items I’m predicting will be most in demand this summer and shop them for yourself.
Anklets
It's the summer of the anklet, everyone! This is the jewelry trend that will sweep the fashion scene so prepare to get on board.
Scarf Tops
Remember when scarf tops were everywhere in the 2000s? Well, now they've officially returned. Whether you're tying on a scarf to wear like a top or trying one out in swimsuit form, this is another comeback piece to get on board with.
Reinvented One-Piece Swimsuits
One-piece swimsuits are anything but ordinary for summer 2019. Instead of minimal styles like we've seen in past seasons, this time around they're designed with cutouts, ruching, and crystal belt details that make them feel special.
Square-Toe Shoes
For fall 2019, square-toes will be the only shoe silhouette that matters. Fashion insiders will be getting an early start with styles that have already dropped from designers like Tôteme and By Far.
Chanel Mules
Chanel's logo mules are already one of the most Instagrammed pieces of the moment, and once summer hits, you'll be sure to spot the shoes in every fashion girl's closet.
Next, the swimsuits every fashion insider will own this summer.
