Shoes are one of those fashion items I can't get enough of. In the last year, though, house slippers and comfortable sneakers dominated my wardrobe, so I'm feeling especially inspired by all of the pretty summer shoes on the market right now. They're the first things I'll be adding to my shopping cart for the season ahead.

I'm not completely abandoning practical shoes, so styles such as cool platform sandals from brands like The Attico and Gia/RHW are on my radar. They're comfortable, yes, but are also a bit more directional than the super-cozy shoes I've been wearing for the last year. Also topping my list? Everything from timeless kitten heels to super-tall silhouettes that throw practicality out the window but invite all of the fun. Yes, I'm very ready for a bit of that in my wardrobe. Ahead, see the pretty summer shoes I just needed to share. I promise you'll love these new finds.

Next, shop the 25 cool fashion finds I'm obsessing over right now.
