I'd say that the tie-dye trend definitely cooled off this past fall and winter, but it seems that it was just on hiatus, because my Instagram feed is filled with it once again, which I'm certainly not complaining about. It seems that with everyone staying home as much as possible these days, they want to wear loungewear, but they want to have fun with it, and what better way to do that than with pretty tie-dye pieces, which the internet is filled with right now?
I'm not sure why this is, but a lot of tie-dye pieces I've come across as of late happen to be inherently comfortable (i.e., sweatpants, tees, cozy socks), which is a huge plus right now. And I don't know about you, but when I wake up in the morning and decide I'm going to wear something tie-dye that day, my mood is instantly boosted. So here we go.
