Selena Gomez Wants Her New Bodycare Line to Feel Like a "Nice Hug"
If 2023 has felt like the year of bodycare, it's no coincidence—this year has seen tons of brands starting and expanding bodycare lines with more than just lotion. In 2023's final hour, Wholesale Replica Bag brand to step into the bodycare arena is Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty.
During a recent event at Hotel Fouquet'z in New York City, Gomez revealed her new bodycare line, Find Comfort.
Gomez chose to release a line of bodycare as an opportunity to showcase how important self-care is. "When you're taking care of your body, mind, and soul, it's all one," Gomez said. "When you do take time to enjoy yourself and to find your little pockets and moments of peace, that's something you should always be proud of."
Find Comfort features four brand-new products: a body lotion, an aromatherapy pen, a fragrance mist, and a hand cream. Each product is packaged in purposefully made mauve vessels. (For instance, the hand cream container also doubles as a hand massager for pressure points.) "I find that this color was comforting to me personally," Gomez said. "I wanted to do a reflection of Rare Beauty but give it its own original story." Keep reading for a breakdown of each product.
"It feels really good on the skin, and coming up with the scent was really fun," Gomez said. "I felt like this is what it feels like to have a nice hug." The top notes are lemon zest, pomelo, and rhubarb; the heart notes are jasmine, violet, and black tea extract; and the base notes are vetiver, tonka beans, and cashmere wood.
Gomez shared that she loves how this hand lotion feels rich without being greasy. It has the same scent as the fragrance mist and the body lotion.
Not only does this body lotion smell incredible, but it's also packed with nourishing ingredients like niacinamide and peach flower extract. "I enjoy the texture so much," Gomez said. "It feels really good."
"I've always loved aromatherapy," Gomez said. "I don't really like getting massages, but I like the oil smell. I wanted it to be a moment for something. One of my best friends has it in her nightstand, and one of my friends has it in her purse." Gomez shared that she likes to rub the aromatherapy pen between her hands and put it on her chest. The pen has a different scent than the rest of the line—it's made with peppermint, lavender, and tonka bean oils.
