Dressing for what you want is one of the oldest fashion rules in the book, so it's not exactly shocking that clothes that look expensive or rich are highly sought after. Lately, a seemingly endless discourse on billionaire style has taken hold of the fashion and pop culture worlds (thanks, Succession). Personally, that's not my goal. For starters, I don't feel pulled to manifest a bank account with quite so many zeroes. Furthermore, the world's richest people rarely seem to care about fashion. I, on the other hand, do.

Instead, I intend to dress like people with enough disposable income to buy clothing, shoes, and accessories at the very peak of quality, items that look, feel, and sit on the body as if they were designed and constructed just for you. To me, that means a curated mix of pieces from Prada, The Row, Khaite, Nili Lotan, and Loro Piana. Until I've manifested that into reality, however, I'm shifting my attention toward pieces that appear shockingly expensive but fit within a top-line budget of $150 rather than $1500. If that sounds familiar, keep scrolling. The 39 under-$150 finds below are just what you've been looking for.
