After Visiting Copenhagen, I'm Convinced Every Scandi Girl Owns These 30 Items
If you couldn't tell by now, we're pretty Scandi obsessed here at WWW. Our love for Parisian fashion and New York street style knows no bounds, but when it comes to that internet It factor, no one does it like a Scandi girl, and I have proof. I recently went on a trip to Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm, and the style inspo was overwhelming. Everywhere I looked, I saw an outfit or subtle beauty look I wanted to re-create. In all three cities, I spotted dozens of New Balance sneakers, breezy linen pieces, and salon-worthy blowouts. Below, I did my best to sum up every fashion and beauty moment I saw in a 30-product edit, and the result is what I'm calling the "Scandi style starter pack." It's chock-full of summer essentials that can easily transition to your fall wardrobe and the beauty products you need to round out the head-to-toe look. Keep reading to shop my Scandi girl inspired items.
Scandi-Inspired Fashion
It wouldn't be a Scandi-themed roundup without an oversize Ganni piece.
Whether they were wearing Bottega Veneta or this viral alternative, Scandi girls love an oversize, woven shoulder bag.
A-line maxi skirts and dresses were a dime a dozen. I'm currently favoring this style.
Summer days aren't guaranteed to be hot in Scandinavia, so a cardigan should always be in tow while out and about.
Vintage-looking slip dresses were abundant—this one from Ref is my current fave.
Scandi girls are the masters of elevated basics, and this pointelle tee is the perfect example.
This controversial pant trend gets a yes from the Scandi fashion set.
The runner-up for "most spotted shoe" goes to the New Balance 530s, specifically in silver and gray colorways.
Founded in Stockholm, Filippa K is a favorite destination for wardrobe staples and accessories.
A classic eyewear shape.
Another ultra-slouchy denim option that I personally can't stop wearing.
While most of the ballet flats I spotted were, in fact, Chanel, you can't beat this $70 style.
A Gen Z leaning accessory made wearable by the Copenhagen fashion set.
Since Scandi girls are all about practical yet cool footwear, I wasn't surprised to see them embracing the semi-platform flip-flop.
Scandi-Inspired Beauty
The Matilda Djerf effect is going strong with fresh blowouts everywhere.
If their hair wasn't freshly blown out, it was slicked back in a clip.
Being from Denmark, Kjaer Weis knows a thing or two about Scandi beauty. I love this natural-looking skin tint.
The best product for brightening any blonde or boosting your summer highlights.
If there's one makeup step not to skip, it's a pop of blush.
