Dr. Deepika Chopra is, undoubtedly, one of a kind. As a visual imagery and media expert, founder of Thing Are Looking Up, and the Optimism Doctor, Chopra’s unique specialization fuses holistic practices with science-backed, "evidence-based manifestations” to ultimately help people find their life’s path. So what exactly does being an Optimism Doctor entail? Essentially, Chopra works with clients, couples, and corporations to cultivate self-mastery tools that help release blocks and manifest a sense of lasting happiness, resiliency, success, and, of course, optimism. Chopra’s approach to unlocking and enriching one’s self-worth focuses on the future and desired outcomes rather than dwelling on the past, which has catapulted her career, proving she is a true industry thought leader.
Chopra impressively holds a doctorate in clinical health psychology, focusing on the mind-body connection, sensory-based visual imagery, color therapy, and innovative cognitive-behavioral strategies. She has been featured in esteemed publications, including Goop, Forbes, and Harper’s Bazaar, sharing her wealth of knowledge of becoming the best version of oneself. In 2019, Chopra launched her first product to supplement her work—the Things Are Looking Up deck of cards, which were thoughtfully designed to inspire optimism and increase happiness, no matter where you are.
But before Chopra manifested her destiny to help empower others, she had her own evolving career journey. From interning at a punk music label (and enjoying every moment of it) and traveling to Japan for self-discovery to working at an investment banking firm and a startup healthcare company, Chopra experienced many different career avenues before returning to school to study psychology.
Tune in to Wholesale Replica Bag episode of Second Life to hear how Chopra turned her passion for helping others into a wellness brand and how her unique perspective on life will help foster the optimism we all have inside of us.
