A Lesson in High-Low Dressing, Thanks to Selena Gomez
If you weren’t already copying Selena Gomez’s outfits, this may be the one to try first. Spotted leaving The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, Gomez mastered the art of high-low dressing by pairing a vintage style t-shirt with Christian Dior ribbon slingbacks and a well-tailored red midi skirt. While it may seem intimidating at first to mix casual pieces with nicer items, the result is undoubtedly stylish.
The trick to nailing the look is sticking with pieces that compliment each other, as Gomez did. By staying within a strict colour palette, the star crafted a look that was unexpected, yet polished. Her hoop earrings only added to the finished product, tapping into one of this season's biggest trends. Keep scrolling to shop similar items below, perfect for creating your own high-low look.
We've been seeing gold hoops everywhere, but this white gold version feels so fresh.
This is the exact t-shirt Gomez wore with her outfit, and it's relatively affordable!
