Sienna Just Wore the French-Girl Denim Trend That's All Over the High Street

Sienna Miller wore French-girl dungarees from the Parisian brand Sézane yesterday, and it confirmed something we had been talking about in theBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing office for some time now: Denim overalls are back.

They're the perfect not-summer-not-autumn piece to reach for, and Miller held on to the last days of good weather by pairing her loose-fitting jean dungarees with a white strappy vest, some suede mules (a tan pair that she often wears because they go with everything), bohemian oversized earrings, a straw bag and classic shades. These are all additions that many of us will have chosen on repeat throughout the warmer months, but it goes to show they still have mileage as the season starts to change.

On Sienna Miller: Sézane Samy Jumpsuit (£150)

Whether it's her jeans-and-cowboy-boots ensemble she wore recently to a party in Ibiza or her white broderie anglaise dress for Wimbledon, Miller's style may feature plenty of premium items, but her looks are always so classic and relatable that they can often be sought out at a much lower price point. Denim dungarees are currently filtering through all of our favourite high-street stores' new-in sections—Mango, H&M, COS, Free People… and even M&S has a great pair.

Like with so many basic items, it's all about how you restyle them to suit your personal tastes. Miller's styling always leans to the hippy side, so trinket jewellery, natural textures and neutral accessories make sense. Perhaps you'd prefer to make your dungarees look more polished, in which case, a shirt and some slingbacks will do the trick. For sporty, simply add a plain tee and sneaks. The ideas could go on and on.
