The 5 Simple Fall Trends I Like Best Are All Available atReplica Store Now
For the most part, simplicity is the name of my fashion game. As a result, I tend to stick to trends that are fashion-forward yet classic to fit within my more pared-down wardrobe. And while I hit up a variety of stores to uncover said trends, Nordstrom is always one of my go-tos given that the retailer really does stock a smattering of pieces to suit a range of styles and budgets.
On that note, I thought I’d take a gander through the new arrivals section to pinpoint the exact pieces I’m into that fit within the highly wearable trend categories I’ve been loving. Here, I’m talking about everything from those slouchier knits to modern tailoring to chunky boots. Basically, all of the trends in question could easily be mixed and matched with other basics to create easy, top-notch looks. Keep scrolling to check out the five simple trends I like best, complete with a variety of inspired shopping picks.
1. Flat, Chunky Boots
If I had to identify one of my favorite items of the season, a pair of chunky, flat boots would reign supreme. I love how that ideal pair is seemingly simple and comfortable, but will add a forward twist to an ensemble as well.
2. Polo Sweaters
While a classic crewneck sweater is undoubtedly a staple, I'm into the knit polos as well. An easy item to pair with jeans or trousers for a modern vibe.
3. Slouchy Blazers
A slightly oversize blazer is more or less a modern classic at this point as an uncomplicated way to bring sophistication and polish to even the simplest of looks.
4. Straight-Leg Jeans
I actually wear skinny jeans a lot, but those straight-leg cuts are where it's at for fall. That ideal pair of straight-leg denim is a no-fail basic.
5. Long Coats
In the coat realm, it's the longer silhouettes that are peaking my interest. A maxi stye just feels effortless and impossibly chic for the season.
