What an opportune time for leggings to make a comeback, amirite? But really, we've seen slit-hem styles (both in the front and on the sides of leggings) bubbling up for a while now, and the trend seems to be at the point where even I—who probably hasn't worn leggings as pants in five or more years—am itching to hop on board. From celebs like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gigi Hadid to the Instagram and street style stars we love, it's been all over my feed and now, in my cart, too.
They're even starting to take the place of jeans, and I can honestly say I haven't seen leggings look this chic and polished in years. Aside from that and the obvious from the comfort factor, however, one of the best things about this comeback is that whether you want to spend less than tens or hundreds of dollars, there's a pair for you.
