Why Wear a Dress Without Pockets When You Can Wear One With Them?

As the title of this story so aptly sums up—can you guess who came up with it?—why wear a dress without pockets when you can wear a dress with pockets? I mean, I don’t know about you, but to me, there’s nothing better than leaving your purse at home, or on the table at an event and getting to covertly carry all your essentials around right there on your person so that whether you’re in dire need of chapstick or want to quickly snap a photo, it takes just seconds to retrieve whatever it is you’re looking for without even having to put your drink down.

Not only that, but pockets also give you somewhere to place your hands during said photo ops so you can avoid that awkward moment where you have no idea what to do with them. I even added them to my wedding dress because, again, why in the world not? To sum it up, whether they’re invisible to the naked eye, or an intentional aesthetic detail, pockets make any spring dress better, which is why I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites below.
