6 Trends That Have Become Everyday Staples
While most trends come and go—and some we’d like to go sooner than others—every once in a while, with enough traction, wearability, and support from both brands and retailers, a trend can rise above the rest and catapult to staple status. This means if you were one of the people to adopt it early, you get to reap the benefits of your investment for even longer than expected.
If not, with fall around the corner, it’s the perfect time to revisit your closet and make sure you have all your essentials covered. “Athleisure is bigger than most trends because it truly signals a lifestyle shift. On one hand, we’re more active than ever before, and there’s certainly a customer who goes from yoga to lunch with her girlfriends in the same outfit. But more than that, it’s a level of comfort that packs both form and function. Los Angeles has been living the movement for some time, and we also have Kendall Jenner as poster child for athleisure with her off-duty leggings look.” — Melissa Moylan

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2024, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
