The Shoes, Tops, and Jeans the Most Stylish Celebs Are Wearing Now
Celebrities’ off-duty style remains my go-to inspiration when I’m in an outfit funk. While I thoroughly enjoy the glam of award season, there’s something in the effortless ease of off-duty outfits that proves to be the most influencing when I’m seeking style tips. Perhaps it is because celebrities have it down to do a formulaic science in creating the look: top + jeans + shoes. It’s a simple combination, yet when done right, it successfully translates into the ultimate off-duty look. Though it is a rather uncomplicated formula, there is an art to the pairing that we can learn from some of our favorite celebs.
From a vast range of denim washes in wide-leg and classic skinny silhouettes to blazers and band tees, celebs are giving us plenty to work with. Take a cue from Selena Gomez and embrace bagginess in both your top and jeans, or go for Kendall Jenner’s iconic denim-cardigan-and-sneaker look. The choice is yours. Keep scrolling to discover the nine most stylish off-duty outfits that celebs are wearing now—and, yes, that you can wear too.
Is it me, or is Kaia Gerber the queen of off-duty street style this season? Though fashion month just commenced, her in-between-shows outfits are already killing it. Take a note from Kaia and opt for a relaxed, plunging neckline paired with a straight-leg silhouette for an effortless look.
This outfit almost broke the internet. From Kendall's hair clip to her cropped cardigan paired with two-tone jeans and classic sneakers, this look is the ticket to the ultimate off-duty look.
Leave it to Alicia Keys to pair a few wild cards to create an undoubtedly cool ensemble. Make your plaid shirt the hero piece in your outfit by layering it under a funky coat, and tone down the look with simple straight-leg jeans and classic black boots.
Another street style icon, Selena is always serving fresh looks. Take a cue from this look, and note that baggier is better. If you haven't noticed yet, black boots are quite popular among these celebs.
Bella Hadid has convinced me that bleached denim is making a bit of a return. Not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical, but when she styled it with a simple, neutral sweater and chic loafers, I was sold.
Style tip: Play around with different colors, textures, and fabrics of socks to style with your loafers.
A true style icon, Rihanna is the master of curating some of the best outfit combos. She's not reinventing the wheel here, just reinforcing that a band tee, skinny jeans, and trendy sneakers will always work.
Style tip: Take a hint from Rihanna and add a personal flair when styling this look. Who doesn't want a fuzzy bucket hat?
Gigi Hadid is introducing a new denim trend I never knew I even needed: holes resting about two inches above the knee. Something about these placed rips is incredibly chic. Styled with arguably this season's favorite boots and a printed blazer, this look can be easily replicated.
