The Easy 2-Piece Outfit I Wear Every September and October

The youngsters on TikTok like to coin phrases to describe fashion trends, so I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for this one. I'm calling my favorite summer-to-fall transitional outfit combo Miss Honey core, named after the beloved teacher from the 1996 movie Matilda. It comprises just two pieces: a cardigan and a printed midi dress. How easy is that? 

With a hint of cottagecore and a dash of coastal grandma—and very much in line with J.Crew's revival—Miss Honey core is my absolute favorite way to style my summery dresses once fall weather starts to creep in. To help illustrate the trend, I searched all over Instagram and ended up striking gold with my findings.
