Hollywood Agrees: You Need to Try Combat Boots 2.0

In the past few months, we've seen many celebrities, models, and fashion influencers slip into the ultimate cool-girl shoes—a pair of lace-up combat boots. Comfortable and versatile, this particular ankle boot style has become a serious cold-weather essential and for good reason. But while the flat variety is definitely a more practical choice for many, we've noticed several of our favorite style stars showing off a new, slightly more elevated version.
Bella Hadid, Sofia Richie, and Taylor Swift have all been spotted in shoes that closely resemble tried-and-true combat boots, but rather than featuring a flat sole, this new style (which we're officially calling combat boots 2.0) has a chunky heel and a slightly chunkier sole. And as the girls prove below, the heeled, lace-up booties pair perfectly with all bottoms, from skinny jeans to baggy, loose-fitting trousers, while offering up the perfect dose of edge to any look.
So if you're looking for a new pair of winter shoes, consider putting combat boots 2.0 on your list. Classic and comfortable with a little bit of height and a lot of edge? We'll be wearing these all season.
Scroll down to see how Bella Hadid, Sofia Richie, and Taylor Swift wear the cool new combat boots, and then shop a pair for yourself.
