While we've grown to love the combo of a crop top and leggings that's become every fashion girl's go-to gym outfit, there are some days (perhaps those that we're not feeling our most Elsa Hosk esque) when we just want something comfortable and covered-up to wear to our workout class. As the temperatures begin to drop, our favorite athleisure looks must also adapt. Now it's time to layer up pre-workout, and we've found just the way to do it. Enter tunic tops, the elongated tanks and tees that are just as cute but don't bare any midriff. Tunics are a great choice for multiple reasons. Because they tend to cover your bum, tunic-length styles should even appeal to those who still feel strongly that leggings are not pants, and for those who do embrace working out in just a sports bra, they're ideal to throw on afterward for running errands on the way home. For lounging around the house, you might even be able to get away with wearing yours as a dress—and any opportunity to ditch the pants as soon as we walk in the door is okay by us.
