This Is What to Wear to Every It Girl's Ultimate Winter Getaway
Tropical vacations pose their own challenges, but when you're traveling to a cold-weather locale, packing becomes even more difficult. If you don't pack enough (or forget essentials such as a scarf or durable boots), you may end up stuck in the resort while your friends are off exploring. Well, thankfully, a few of our favorite It girls, who just so happen to be vacationing in Aspen, are there to provide us with much-needed outfit inspiration that is as stylish as it warm, at least by the looks of it.
Sofia Richie, Nina Dobrev, and Kate Hudson have mastered what to wear on a winter getaway, with their ensembles sharing four key elements: a warm coat, durable boots, comfortable leggings, and a trendy pair of sunglasses. Richie opted for a bright red puffer while Dobrev chose a classic Eddie Bauer parka (which, FYI, is on sale right now!). Hudson, sporting a pair of pink leggings (the other two went with classic black), added thick knee-high socks for some extra warmth—genius! Scroll down to see how three It girls style their cold-weather essentials for the ultimate getaway.
On Sofia Richie: Givenchy puffer coat; Wolford Viscose Pullover ($275); J Brand Leather Leggings ($948); Louis Vuitton Platform Desert Boots ($1330)
On Nina Dobrev: Eddie Bauer Parka ($120); Spanx Faux Leather Moto Leggings ($110); Westward Leaning Flower 28 Sunglasses ($225); Burberry scarf
On Kate Hudson: Danner Mountain Light Cascade Boots ($360); Ray-Ban Mirrored Matte Classic Aviator Sunglasses ($178)
If you're still in warm weather despite the season, we've got just the outfit inspiration. See a handful of genius sneaker outfit combos as demonstrated by Tracee Ellis Ross.
