"A classic pose that is great for defining the body and coming across as poised. Simply place your hand on your hip and relax your shoulders. You can try varying it up with asymmetrical hand placements to spice up your poses. Plus, you'll get that triangle shape the fashion world loves."
On Ashley Graham: Vivienne Westwood dress; De Beers jewellery
"To nail this look, place one foot in front of the other—slightly angled—and lean ever-so-slightly backward, pulling your shoulders down. You can place one hand on your hip if you'd like, while the other hand is relaxed slightly on your side. This pose will make you appear tall and slim, but still giving an S-curve illusion that photographs beautifully."
On Alexa Chung: Emilia Wickstead dress; Nicholas Kirkwood Maeva Pumps (£545); Tiffany Co. jewellery

"A little bend in the elbows with your hands in the pockets is always a good idea. Just make sure your hands aren't too deep inside the pockets—that creates bulk. Plus, a little lean to one side adds shape and movement."
On Irina Shayk: Misha Nonoo jumpsuit; Chopard jewellery
