When you’re holidaying in Aspen, where blanket scarves meet blankets of snow, it’s natural to experience a moment’s hesitation over what you’ll be wearing. But full-fledged city girl and Aspen-vet Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific subscribes to the following state of mind (and dress) during her travels: You can take the girl out of New York, but you can’t take New York out of the girl. Which is precisely the sensibility she’s bringing on her Aspen adventures with the help from her favorite pieces from AG.

“I passed on the traditional plaid and chunky boot look and went for an outfit that is NYC meets Aspen. I choose the AG legging ankle in black, cozy cashmere crew neck and chunky beanie for this Aspen day on the town. I love how this outfit is warm but 'unexpected aspen.’”
“Better to stand out in awesome [and colorful] accessories. A great hat, reflective sunglasses, and a killer scarf.”
“There are a couple different ways to help make your chunky turtleneck dress feel more streamlined. Many can be belted- which is an easy way to help define your waistline and depending on the belt add a touch of color or glitter! If you choose not to belt your sweater dress then I would stick to really slimming footwear. This would be a flattering over the knee boot or dark tights with stiletto, pointy pumps!”
“Boots and booties are key for winter weather. While traditional snow boots are great you will be surprised how well many of your flat boots and booties also work in the weather with warmer socks. You just want to avoid boots with no traction on the bottom!”
“During this time of year it can be tough to predict how cold it is going to be, so I think about my outfit in layers. I try to create outfits that in which I can shed a layer or two and still like my look if temps are warmer than expected. I typically pack warming accessories, such as a great beanie, chic earmuffs, and blanket scarves.”
“Remember that snow on the ground in Aspen is different than in NYC. You aren't jumping in and out of a cab, you will have to walk at least a few blocks!”
