The Fashion Girl's Way to Make a Maxi Skirt Look Cool
If you get invited to be the guest of honor at a denim brand's spring preview party, it would be pretty safe to bet you know your way around styling denim. Well, that was the case with Kate Bosworth this week, who was a major star at Lucky Brand's event. The actress opted for the brand's new (and very cheeky!) "The Love Jacket," a gray denim piece that's classic and tailored from the front but features intricate embroidery of the words "heart-breaker" on the back. It's very on-trend with the market's move toward novelty denim lately, and we are totally here for it. Plus, we love the way she buttoned it up and let it act as its own top. She also paired it with a fluttery black maxi skirt and pointed black ankle boots which were totally perfect for fall. All in all, this look was a major hit in our books, denim jacket and all.
