When It Comes to Comfy Clothes, I Think This Brand Does It Best
I'm not really a joggers and T-shirt kind of girl, but there is one brand that might change my mind on tracksuits—American Vintage. The basics brand manages to do the seemingly impossible and make jersey jogging bottoms look pretty, by using soft confectionary pastels and fabrics so soft that you might never want to take them off. The knitwear has become a fashion-girl favourite, as the cardigans that are part mohair, part wool, might even be the softest knits I've ever touched. I know, I know, this is a bold claim.
The spring collection revolves around a few hero hues—a baby pink, light blue, lilac, marigold yellow and grey—so you can easily mix and match the separates together. I'm personally a fan of the 'feel good' sweatshirt and matching trousers, and the pink cotton shorts and matching oversized shirt. These are basics that you can wear casually in the house, or use as building blocks to balance more statement pieces in years to come.
Keep scrolling to see my favourite basics that are so comfy you'll be tempted to sleep in them. PS. American Vintage currently has 25% off in the spring edit on Harvey Nichols.
